This comment of Rajeev Shukla comes in view of the rumors about former Indian captain and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni, who was being said to be playing the inaugural season of the T20 league organized by Cricket South Africa (CSA). Dhoni could be the mentor of the CSK franchise-owned team Johannesburg Super Kings.
A BCCI official said that the board will not allow its players to participate in any foreign cricket league. Rajeev Shukla told ANI, “We do not provide our players in any other cricket league abroad. We have a direct policy in this regard.
Our Indian Premier League is a very big league in itself and we cannot allow any of our players to be associated with any foreign league in any way.”
