Indian captain Virat Kohli becomes the first batsman, who cross 3000 runs in men’s T20 International format

Kohli achieved this feat in the second T20I match against England. Virat Kohli had been struggling with his poor form for a few days but in the last T20I matches he led India to a landslide victory over England and ended the five-match series 1–1.

Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 73 runs off 49 balls, he needed 72 runs to score 3000 runs before this match.

Debutant Ishan Kishan, who supported Virat and scored 56 runs off 32 balls, including 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Since making his T20I format debut in Zimbabwe in 2010, Virat now has 3001 runs from 87 T20Is.
