Indian Batsman Shreyas Iyer signs up with English County Cricket club Lancashire, which will be started in July

Iyer became the six Indian batsmen to have played for the club – Farokh Engineer, VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, Dinesh Mongia, and Murali Karthik

Shreyas played 21 ODIs with eight fifties and one century and also played 29 T20Is with the 133.8 strike rate

Shreyas Iyer is a star name of the Indian Premier League and scored 519 runs while leading the Delhi Capital in the final last year – the fourth top scorer in the tournament – at a strike rate of 123.

Iyer played all three One Day International matches in Australia and he is currently part of the ongoing India series against England.
