Laura Wolvaardt Returns for WBBL

South African batsman Laura Wolvaardt will return to the Adelaide Strikers in the WBBL for the 2021-22 season.
Laura Wolvaardt, who is known for driving with some of the best off-side sports in the world. The Strikers were the top scorer in the previous season with 347 runs at 26.69.
He has been in good form with back-to-back half-centuries in the ODI series on the current tour of West Indies. Whereas in the second T20I, he hit four consecutive sixes to end the innings.
Prior to that tour, he played in the Hundred for Northern Supercharge with 181 runs at an average of 36.20 and a strike rate of 116.77.
Laura Wolvaardt is the first foreign player. Those who have confirmed for the upcoming season which is going to start from 14th October.

There are now five South African players for the WBBL along with Nadine de Klerk and Anneke Bosch in Brisbane Heat, Mignon du Preez in Hobart Hurricanes and Marijne Cup in Perth Scorchers.
