Legends League Cricket: The Festival of Cricket in the form of Legends League Cricket (LLC) is about to begin in Kolkata from 16 September. Cricket stars of the bygone era, known as the City of Joy, reached Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, for this much-awaited league being held for the first time in India.

The second season of Legends League cricket will begin in India :-

A special benefit match between India Maharaja and Team World Giants will be played on 16 September at the historic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. It will mark the start of the second season of Legends League cricket in India.

Former Sri Lankan spin magician Muttiah Muralitharan, who will be seen playing for Manipal Tigers, said at a press conference in Kolkata on Thursday that he will aim to recap his best times when he takes the field for his team. With 90 great cricketers, the league will have a total of 16 matches regarding benefit matches.

Some of the top names including Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Muttiah Muralitharan; Jacques Kallis, Chris Gayle and Brett Lee are gracing the tournament.

Former India fast bowler S. Sreesanth will play for LNJ Bhilwara Kings :-

Former India fast bowler S. Sreesanth, who turned 39 earlier this year, said age just a number for him. Srikanth will play for LNJ Bhilwara Kings. The proceeds of the ‘Charity’ match will go to Kapil Dev’s Khushi Foundation, which works in the field of girls’ education. Manipal Tigers and Bhilwara Kings are the other two franchise teams in the four-team league.

Sehwag, one of India’s most successful openers, will be in action once again. His team Gujarat Giants will take on Gautam Gambhir’s India Capitals in the league opener match at the Eden Gardens Stadium on September 17. The league has one of the most unique initiatives of its kind in India. All the umpires in this league are women.

Disney+ Hotstar Official Broadcaster of Legends League Cricket:-

Season 2 of Legends League cricket is a four-team franchise model. It will begin on 16 September at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. Then will played in Lucknow, New Delhi, Cuttack and Jodhpur.

With Disney Star becoming the official broadcaster. The league will streamed live on the Star Sports network as well as streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in four languages ​​- English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
