LLC 2023: On-field altercation between Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and Sreesanth clashed with each other in a match of Legends League Cricket 2023. Gujarat Giants faced India Capitals in the eliminator match of this league, in which Gujarat captain Parthiv Patel won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, India Capitals scored 223 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
India Capitals won the match by 12 runs :-
In response, Gujarat Giants could score only 211 runs while chasing the target. India Capitals won this match by 12 runs. During the match, there was an altercation between Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth. Gambhir and Sreesanth showed angry eyes to each other during the match :-
Actually, it can be seen in the viral video that in LLC 2023, India Capitals captain Gautam Gambhir came to open and played a half-century. Gambhir thrashed Sreesanth severely in his over.
During this time, Gambhir hit some sharp shots on S Sreesanth’s balls due to which Sreesanth lost his temper and tried to glare at Gambhir, but Gautam also did not remain silent.
The whole incident happened in the second over of the match :-
This entire incident happened in the second over of the match, where Gambhir was on strike, who hit a six on the first ball of Sreesanth’s over. He hit a four on the next ball. The third ball was a dot. After this Sreesanth proceeded in his follow through and started staring at Gambhir.
Gambhir also started pointing at them angrily and saying something. However, the matter did not progress much further. Sreesanth spent 35 runs in 3 overs and took 1 wicket.
