LLC: Despite Naman’s 140, Tahir guides World Giants to victory

Muscat, Jan 23 (PTI) Former South Africa spinner Imran Tahir scored an unbeaten 52 with two lives to spare as the World Giants defeated the Indian Maharajas in a thrilling encounter in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) T20 tournament here on Saturday. Wicket defeated.

This is the first win for the Giants, who had lost against Asia Lions on Friday. All three teams have registered one win each.

Giants needed 48 runs to win in the last three overs. Tahir hit three sixes on Manpreet Goni and Munaf Patel.

Maharajas had to defend the score of 12 runs in the last over. With RP Singh and Hemang Badani returning to the dressing room with injuries.
