Lucknow Super Giants vs Punjab Kings IPL 2022: In the 42nd match of the Indian Premier League, KL Rahul beats Mayank’s Punjab by 20 runs, Lucknow Super Giants faced Punjab Kings at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Punjab captain won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants scored 153 for 8 in 20 overs.

Punjab Kings had to score 154 runs to win, but Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab scored 133 for 8 in 20 overs and this team lost by 20 runs. Krunal Pandya was adjudged the player of the match for his brilliant bowling in this match. He took 2 wickets for 11 runs in 4 overs and also threw an over maiden.

Punjab’s innings, Mayank scored 25 runs

Captain Mayank Agarwal scored 25 runs and was caught by KL Rahul off Chamira’s ball. Punjab’s second wicket fell as Shikhar Dhawan and he was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi for five runs. Bhanuka Rajapakse was dismissed for 9 by Krunal Pandya. Liam Livingstone was caught by Mohsin Khan for 18 runs, while Jitesh Sharma scored 2 runs and was dismissed leg before by Krunal Pandya.

Punjab’s sixth wicket fell in the form of Jonny Bairstow, who scored 32 runs and gave his catch to Krunal Pandya off Chamira. Rabada became the victim of Mohsin Khan for 2 runs and was caught out. For Lucknow, Mohsin Khan took three, Chamir and Krunal Pandya two each while Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket.

KL Rahul bat did not play against Punjab

KL Rahul’s bat did not work against Punjab and he was caught on the ball of Rabada after scoring 6 runs. Second opener batsman Quinton de Kock played a good innings. And scored 46 runs in 37 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 4 fours. Dikak was caught out by Sandeep Sharma, while Deepak Hooda was run out after scoring 34 runs. Krunal Pandya was caught by Rabada for 7 runs at the hands of Dhawan. While Ayush Badoni also became a victim of Rabada and he handed his catch to Liam Livingstone for 4 runs.

Marcus Stoinis was dismissed by Rahul Chahar on the score of one run by taking a catch on his own ball. At the same time, Jason Holder lost his wicket after scoring 11 runs off the ball of Rahul Chahar. Chamira was caught by Rabada for 17 runs. Mohsin Khan remained unbeaten on 13, while Avesh Khan scored two not out. For Punjab, Rabada took four wickets and he was the most successful bowler.
