Lucknow Super Giants: On this occasion, Lucknow’s mentor and former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the capital and gifted him the first bat.
For the first time, a city from Uttar Pradesh has got an opportunity to guide in the Indian Premier League. Lucknow has put up a strong team for its first season. The team includes many fine bowlers and batsmen.
Lucknow Super Giants: The new IPL franchise LSG has shared pictures of the meeting between Gautam Gambhir, Sanjeev Goenka, and Yogi Adityanath on their Twitter account.
He wrote on his Twitter account, ‘The first bat was gifted to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from Lucknow, thank you for his support.

Lucknow is the most expensive team in IPL history. The Lucknow franchise was bought by RPSG Group for Rs 7090 crore. Earlier, Mumbai was the most expensive franchise of IPL, which was worth 839 crores.
Apart from Lucknow, Ahmedabad is the second most expensive IPL franchise. Ahmedabad was bought by CVC Capitals for Rs 5625 crore.
