Major Action Taken Against Sam Curran, Important Reason Came to the Fore

Major action has been taken against England’s veteran all-rounder player Sam Curran. He has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee. Sam Curran had done a lot of celebration after taking the wicket of Temba Bavuma during the second ODI against South Africa and that is why this major action was taken against him.

Sam Curran has been found guilty of breaching Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Under this, the use of language against any player, action or pointing towards the batsman after being dismissed. The umpires imposed a charge on Sam Curran which he accepted. Sam Curran got Temba Bavuma out in the 28th over of the innings and when Bavuma started going out, Sam Curran celebrated by coming in his way. That is why this action has been taken against him.

Temba Bavuma Scored a Brilliant Century to Win South Africa

Let us tell you that South Africa defeated England in the second ODI match in a row. Batting first, England scored 342 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. In response, South Africa achieved this target in 49.1 overs thanks to a tremendous century by captain Temba Bavuma. Bavuma was adjudged player of the match for his brilliant innings.

Chasing the target, opener Quinton de Kock played an inning of 31 runs off 28 balls for South Africa. At the same time, captain Temba Bavuma scored 109 runs in just 102 balls with the help of 14 fours and 1 six. Race van der Dussen scored 38 and Aiden Markram scored 49 runs. After this, in the end, David Miller scored an unbeaten 58 off 37 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes and Marco Jansen scored an unbeaten 32 off 29 balls to give the team victory.
