Major Player May Join Mumbai Indians team for IPL, Veteran Indicated

Before the upcoming season of IPL 2023, a big update has come regarding the Mumbai Indians franchise. This franchise has added a player from South Africa. Although head coach Mark Boucher did not reveal the name of that player but he definitely indicated that this player has been signed.

During the South African T20 League, Mark Boucher confirmed that he has signed a Proteas team player for Mumbai Indians. However, it is not yet known whether this player will play for Mumbai Indians or for any other franchise. Apart from this, there is also a possibility that this player should be used as a net bowler.

Mark Boucher Declined to Name

Mark Boucher told that this player is still young but he would not name him. He said during the conversation,

It’s always great to have the flavor of South Africa. We have acquired another player. I will not reveal his name now but he is going to be in the team. The good thing is that these players are also young and they are getting to play good cricket on time.

Batting first, MI Cape Town scored 165 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 20 overs. In response, the Durban team achieved the target by losing five wickets in 19.5 overs. Captain Quinton de Kock played a tremendous inning for Durban Super Giants. He played a brilliant inning of 63 runs in just 41 balls with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes. De Kock was adjudged Player of the Match for his blistering innings.
