Mayank Agarwal in hospital: Indian cricketer Mayank Agarwal’s health suddenly deteriorated on Tuesday, January 30. He has been admitted to Agartala hospital.
Mayank Agarwal is out of danger :-
Actually Mayank Agarwal was returning from Agartala after playing Ranji Trophy match. 32 year old Mayank is the captain of Karnataka team. It is being told that after boarding the flight, the batsman became unwell and complained of burning sensation in the mouth and throat. Mayank is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU and is out of danger.

An official of Tripura Cricket Association said:-
An official of the Tripura Cricket Association, on condition of anonymity, told news agency PTI, “The team was in the flight and Agarwal started feeling uneasy. He vomited while sitting in the flight and when he started feeling pain, he got off the plane. A call came from Shahveer Tarapore from Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and we immediately sent two of our representatives to the hospital. He is currently under doctor’s observation. We have been told that the doctor is doing some tests.
Mayank faced problems after drinking bottled water:-
According to media reports, Mayank complained of burning sensation in the mouth and throat after drinking bottled water. Mayank recently took the field in the Ranji match against Tripura at the stadium in Agartala. He scored 51 and 17 runs. On Monday (January 29), Karnataka won by 29 runs.
Karnataka has to play its next match against Railways in Surat from February 2. Mayank Agarwal is likely to rested in this match. He has been out of the Indian team for a long time. He played his last international match in March 2022.
