Mitchell Johnson is an Australian former cricketer, who played all forms of the game until his retirement from international cricket in 2015. He is a left-arm fast bowler and left-handed batsman. Mitchell made his Test debut for Australia in November 2007, was born on 2 November 1981.

Career-

Mitchell Johnson at his best was as fearsome as fast bowlers come. That summit came during 2013-14 when in successive series. He cowed the batsmen of England and South Africa with his speed and aggression. In those eight Tests, he collected 59 wickets at 15.23, along with a big bunch of cherries on helmets and gloves.

Not surprisingly it led to Johnson winning his first Allan Border Medal. And at the age of 32. He was finally achieving the sorts of feats that Dennis Lillee might have expected when he first spotted Johnson’s talent as a 17-year-old.

England captain Joe Root recalls facing Mitchell Johnson on his first trip down Under Back in 2013/14 for the Ashes. Speaking to The Guardian, he talked about how he was forced to play shots he didn’t want. “Some of the balls Johnson bowled, what set it apart from other tough passages of the game was that you found yourself playing shots you didn’t expect. Your body will do the things you’ve done your entire career in training.

In Brisbane in my first innings, the first ball, I had a huge drive, thick edge for three. The second ball is another huge drive. And I’m thinking, ‘What am I doing?’ That’s not the way I want to play. I look back and there are five slips, I know exactly what he’s trying to do, how he’s going to get me out. Mitchell’s wife Jessica Bratich-

Jessica Bratich is a former Australian Karate Player and a businesswoman. She made quite a name for herself before marrying Australian Cricketer, Mitchell Johnson.

Early Life-

Jessica Bratich did her schooling in Perth. Her father runs a Karate School in Perth for people of all ages. Seeing her father’s dedication she also developed an interest in Karate. She started learning Karate at the age of 9. She played many national and international Karate Tournaments. And she won a bronze in Karate World Championship in 2006 including many other awards.
