CSK-owned Texas Super Kings (TSK) have announced the signing of leg-spinner Imran Tahir for the inaugural edition of MLC. Their decision to sign Tahir comes days after the franchise had confirmed the withdrawal of Ambati Rayudu due to personal reasons.

Imran was a key part of CSK –

Both Rayudu and Tahir, much like several other players in the Texas Super Kings, have played for CSK at some point or are associated with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise even now.

Imran Tahir was a key part of CSK in the past. He played 27 matches for the Men in Yellow and scalped 35 wickets. He was part of the championship-winning side in 2018 as well as 2021. In total, the South African cricketer featured in 59 IPL games in which he picked 82 wickets.
