IPL competition has increased to this level

Sehwag said, I think the competition of IPL has increased to such a level that all the players from different countries want to play in IPL. He is recognized in the country for the performances he gives in IPL. For example, David Warner did so well. IPL and after that he got a chance to play in the Australian international team and did well there as well. Also, the main advantage of IPL is that we get young players from small towns. Who emerge and give their best and perform well.

He further said, IPL has benefitted the young talent the most. Earlier, Ranji Trophy performances went unnoticed and hence could not make it to the Indian team. But now, if you do well in IPL and you show your talent. Then immediately, you get a chance to play for the Indian team. Because of IPL, many youths from small states of the country have started taking the cricketer seriously. Let’s try our best to participate in IPL and work hard for it. For example, my son is 15 years old and is already working hard to get a chance in IPL.
