Kane Williamson, 30, was on maternity leave when New Zealand defeated West Indies (NZ vs WI) in the Wellington Test and then defeated Pakistan in Auckland to take a 1-0 lead in the ongoing T20I series.

Williamson has been away from cricket for the last few days and that is probably why he was eager to return. Talking about it, he said, “Obviously, you get a lot of advice about what to expect or what you will try to keep in mind when you return to the game.
