Both the teams would like to win this match and win the title, but England openers Jos Buttler and Alex Hales will be eyeing Virat’s record. Both the batsmen would like to leave Virat behind by playing big innings in the final match. However, it will not be easy for either of the batsmen.

Currently, Virat Kohli is the highest run scorer in this tournament. He has scored 296 runs in six matches at an average of 98.67 and a strike rate of 136.41. 25 fours and eight sixes have also come out of his bat. In this case, Virat is followed by Max Odwad of Netherlands, who scored 242 runs in eight innings.

Butler and Hales would like to leave Virat behind

To break Virat’s record, he will have to score 86 runs in the final match. This feat against Pakistan will not be easy.

Butler needs 98 runs to beat Virat

England captain Jos Buttler is number 10 in this list. Butler has scored 199 runs in five innings at an average of 49.75 and a strike rate of 143.17. Butler will have to score 98 runs to leave Kohli behind. In such a situation, the chances of breaking Virat’s record are very less.
