PAK vs NED: Pakistan beat Netherlands by 16 runs in 1st ODI, Fakhar Zaman century

PAK vs NED, 1st ODI: After Fakhar Zaman (109), Babar Azam (74) and Shadab Khan (48 not out), Pakistan defeated Netherlands by 16 runs in the first ODI on Tuesday. .

PAK vs NED: Pakistan took 1-0 lead in the series :-

After winning the first ODI, Pakistan’s team has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Batting first at the Hezlarweg Stadium in Rotterdam, Pakistan scored 314 for six in their stipulated 50 overs and then restricted the Netherlands team to 298 for 8 in 50 overs.

Brilliant batting from Vikramjit Singh and Tom Cooper :-

The host Netherlands team, chasing the target of 315 runs from Pakistan, lost their three wickets on the score of 62 runs. After this, Vikramjit Singh and Tom Cooper tried to get the team out of trouble by sharing 97 runs for the fourth wicket.

But after that both the batsmen got out after scoring 65-65 runs. However, after this, captain Scott Edwards kept one end and he kept the team in the match by sharing two half-centuries.

PAK vs NED: The hosts could only score 298 runs for 8 wickets :-

Netherlands needed 42 runs in the last three overs to win, but the hosts could only manage 298 for 8 after playing full overs. Edwards scored 71 not out.

Apart from him, Logan van Beek scored 28 runs. For Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took three wickets each while Mohammad Wasim and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket each.

Fakhar Zaman scored the seventh century of his ODI career :-

Earlier, batting first, Pakistan scored 314 runs for six wickets. Fakhar Zaman scored the seventh century of his ODI career for the team.

Taking full advantage of his life, Fakhar scored the seventh century of his ODI career. He took 105 balls for this. The Pakistani batsman completed his century by hitting a four in the second ball of the 36th over.

Fakhar scored a century in ODI for the last time in April 2021 :-

After the century, however, Fakhar Zaman could not play a long innings and was unfortunately run out. He scored the same number of runs in 109 balls during his century innings. For this, Fakhar took 12 fours and a six.

This is Fakhar’s first century in ODIs since April 2021. He also got a lifeline when Pakistan’s score was 70 for one in 19 overs. After this he made a century partnership with captain Babar Azam and then completed his century.

Apart from them, captain Babar Azam scored 74 and Shadab Khan scored an unbeaten 48. Agha Salman scored an unbeaten 27 runs in the lower order to take the team beyond 300.
