PAK vs NZ, T20: Pakistan suffered an embarrassing defeat by 9 wickets during the T20 tri-series against New Zealand, but with this embarrassing defeat, an unwanted record was also recorded in Pakistan’s account.
After 8 years, Pakistan did not hit a single six in the entire innings in T20 :-
Batsmen like Captain Babar Azam, No. 1 T20 batsman Mohammad Rizwan also flopped and did not hit a single six during the entire Pakistani innings. This was the first time in the last eight years that Pakistan had not hit a single six in a T20 International match. Earlier this happened in the match against Australia in Dubai in 2014.
PAK vs NZ, T20: Pakistan piled on the score of just 130 runs :-
In 20 overs, Pakistan’s team could score only 130 runs for seven wickets. The match was played in Christchurch, New Zealand. New Zealand achieved the target of 131 runs in 16.1 overs losing just one wicket.
Bangladesh is the third team in the tri-series. The Pakistani batsmen looked helpless in front of the Kiwi bowling attack and none of the nine batsmen hit a six.
The failure of Pakistan’s middle order was once again exposed :-
During the Pakistan innings, only 15 fours were hit, out of which Babar and Rizwan hit three fours each. The rest of the players together could hit only 11 fours. Iftikhar Ahmed and Asif Ali also hit three fours each.
After this match, the failure of Pakistan’s middle order was exposed once again. This is Pakistan’s last T20 series before the T20 World Cup and the team still seems that the issue of batting order has not been resolved.
