PAK vs NZ, Babar Azam: Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored a half-century in the second match of the tri-series against New Zealand on Saturday, giving the team a spectacular victory. Batting first, New Zealand had set a target of 148 runs in front of Pakistan. Pakistan achieved this score with 6 wickets and 10 balls to spare.
Babar Azam played a brilliant innings of 79 runs in 53 balls with the help of 11 fours. He was also awarded the Man of the Match award for his strong innings.
Babar has made 4 new records playing this innings against New Zealand. In some, he has even beaten the legendary T20 players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Babar Azam became the highest run-scorer in SENA countries :-
Earlier, Rohit Sharma had the record of scoring the most runs as a visiting batsman in the army countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia). Rohit had scored 925 runs in these four countries so far, but Babar Azam has made this record by playing an innings of 79 runs against New Zealand. His name has now become 961 runs in the army countries.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has broken the record of Virat Kohli in this matter. Kohli, popularly known as Chase Master, previously held the record of scoring 75 or more runs in the shortest format of cricket 5 times during a chase. But playing an unbeaten innings of 79 runs against New Zealand, Babar Azam has done this for the 6th time.
Most unbeaten 50 plus scores in T20Is :-
This is Babar Azam’s 10 not out 50-plus score in T20Is. He is at the third position in this list after Virat Kohli and Mohammad Rizwan. Babar has overtaken Australian opener David Warner, who has 9 unbeaten 50-plus scores to his name. In this list, Kohli is at the first position with a score of 19 not out 50 plus. Rizwan (11) is in second place.

This is Babar Azam’s 28th fifty in T20 cricket. He has equaled former Indian captain Virat Kohli in terms of being the fastest to reach this point. Babar Azam and Virat Kohli took 84 innings to score 28 half-centuries in the shortest format of cricket, while Rohit Sharma, third in the list, scored 28 half-centuries in 128 innings.
