Pakistan Head Coach: Pakistan has to play a series of 5 T20 matches against New Zealand. For this, the team has already been announced under the command of Babar Azam. Now the new head coach of Pakistan has been announced for this series. Pakistan have not been able to find a permanent coach after Saqlain Mushtaq’s tenure ended in February this year. Now a veteran of New Zealand has been given the responsibility of the coach’s post.

This Veteran got the Responsibility
Pakistan has appointed Grant Bradburn as its head coach for the upcoming series against New Zealand. While Andrew Putik of South Africa has been appointed as the batting coach. Both the appointments are on an interim basis only. Bradburn had earlier been the fielding coach of the Pakistan team in the year 2018. Then in the year 2021, he has also worked as a high performance coach.
Pakistan Cricket Board Gave this Statement
According to the report of Cricbuzz, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said in a statement that the recruitment process for the post of coach is going on in PCB. The team management will announce it after the New Zealand series. He is finalizing the names.

Already have Coaching Experience
Last month, Abdul Rehman was made the coach of Pakistan for the 3 T20 series against Afghanistan. Whereas, Abdul has been nominated as the assistant coach. At the same time, Umar Gul has been selected as the bowling coach. Grant Bradburn already has coaching experience, which could come in handy for the Pakistan team. He has scored 460 runs in 7 Tests and 318 runs in 11 ODIs playing for New Zealand.
