Next week’s one-day series between Pakistan and New Zealand will not be part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League. Both the cricket boards made the announcement.

The three ODIs, starting September 17 in Rawalpindi, will be a regular bilateral series due to the non-availability of the Decision Review System (DRS). Which is a vital requirement in the playing conditions of the Super League.

The use of DRS is a requirement in the playing conditions for the Super League. Which is the highest tier of the qualification pathways for the 2023 ODI World Cup. There will be no DRS in the series because the PCB and the broadcasters could not find an ICC-approved provider for the technology required to run the system.
