Legendary Pakistani batsman Javed Miandad once again lashed out at India and said that Pakistan should not tour the neighboring country to play matches until the BCCI agrees to send its team here. Miandad also urged to boycott the ICC ODI World Cup in this.
Javed Miandad said –
“Pakistan had visited India in 2012 and also in 2016. Now it is India’s turn to come here. If I had to take a decision, I would not go to India to play any match, even if it is the World Cup. We were always ready to play against India, but they never responded.”
Miandad added – “Pakistan cricket is big. We are giving quality players. So I don’t think if we don’t tour India, we are going to make any difference.”

Let us remind you that the last time India toured Pakistan was in 2008, when the Asia Cup was played. After this bilateral series has not been played due to border and political tension between the two countries.
Miandad believes that sports should not be mixed with politics –
He further said – “I always say that one cannot choose one’s neighbour. It would be better if we walk in agreement with each other. I have always said that cricket is a game that brings people closer to each other. He can end the misunderstanding between the countries.”
