Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has retired from international cricket, ending a career spanning more than 18 years. However, he will continue to play and remain available for T20 franchise cricket.

The Arrived in International Cricket in 2003 :-

Mohammad Hafeez, who made his international debut in 2003 in ODIs vs Zimbabwe, played his last international match against Australia in the T20 World Cup semi-final which his team lost last November.

He had initially released that the 2020 T20 World Cup would be his last assignment, but the lockdown of the tournament due to COVID-19 has extended his time with him.

He finished his career playing 55 Tests, 218 ODIs, and 119 T20Is and scored 12,780 runs across all formats.

His Last Game was in Bangladesh :-

Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez had retired from Test cricket in December 2018. He was subsequently ignored for ODIs after the 2019 World Cup, in which his last game came against Bangladesh at Lord’s.

Mohammad has the most appearances in the T20 World Cup, leading Pakistan to the semi-finals in the 2012 World T20.

He also guided the team in 2014 when Pakistan was knocked out of the group stage. As a captain in T20Is, he led Pakistan to 18 wins with 11 losses in 29 matches.

Hafeez is the Fourth Highest Among Players :-

Hafeez played 55 Tests, 218 ODIs, and 119 T20Is, scoring 12,780 runs across all formats, and finished with 32 player-of-the-match awards, surpassing only Shahid Afridi (43) in all international cricket for Pakistan. Is the fourth biggest player among the players.

Above him are Wasim Akram (39) and Inzamam-ul-Haq (33). Additionally, Hafeez also accumulated nine player-of-the-series awards jointly with Imran Khan, Inzamam, and Waqar Younis.
