Pakistan’s tour of Australia: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricket Australia (CA) on Friday released the revised schedule of the 2022 Australia men’s cricket team’s tour of three Tests, three ODIs, and one T20 International.
The tour will now begin and end with the opening Test in Rawalpindi from March 4-8 and four white-ball matches from March 29 to April 5.

The change in venue for the first Test means that the second Test will be playing in Karachi from March 12-16 and the third in Lahore from March 21-25.
PCB Chief Executive Faisal Hasnain said, “We are delighting that the Cricket Australia Board has formally agreed to their side’s five-week tour schedule and endorsing what they was receiving from Pakistan for the first time in 24 years.
We are really excited to host Pat Cummins and his players and look forward to a rival series that will consist of three Tests, three ODIs, and one T20I.
“While Australia will be on the back of a convincing performance in their home series against England, our team has been playing excellent cricket which has resulted in our players winning ICC awards.
It sets up for a tough rivalry series, something that fans will thoroughly enjoy and remember for a long time.”
The schedule will b revising to reduce logistical and operational challenges. And as well as to avoid the Pakistan Day rehearsal. Which usually begins in Islamabad in the second week of March.
Both the cricket boards have also agreed that the Australia Test team will complete its assignment in Australia before reaching Islamabad on a chartered flight on February 27. In addition to the one-day room isolation. They will hold training sessions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
Australian white-ball players are expecting to reach Lahore on March 24 after being isolating in Australia.
In addition to a day’s isolation on arrival, he will coordinate with other members of the side and travel to Islamabad for the first ODI in Rawalpindi on March 29.

The Tests will be parting of the ICC World Test Championship. While the ODIs are linking to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, in which the top eight sides. Including hosts India, will directly qualify for the 2023 50-over World Cup.
