Meanwhile, PAK opener Ahmed Shehzad has given a shocking statement regarding Gambhir.

Ahmed said on Virat-Gambhir’s fight –

“What I saw was really sad. I can understand what happened between Afghanistan player Naveen and Virat Kohli. This is often seen on the field, but what Gautam did. His own player and the player of his own country who is currently the biggest player in the world. His gestures against Virat Kohli were not right.”

Along with this, Ahmed said – “Looking at Gambhir, it seemed that he was jealous of Kohli. Gambhir has had problems with Kohli. I think he finds an excuse to pick a fight with Kohli, I have never seen anyone misbehaving with Kohli. He is a legend of the game and you should respect him. I think he is unable to digest Kohli’s success and people’s love for him.”

Ahmed further said –

“What he has achieved at such a young age, Gambhir could not achieve in his entire career. But you are really a big player, or big at heart, this should not be your gesture. You should realize your mistake, and apologize to them. I have never seen any management personnel jumping into a fight between two players.”
