PCB and ACC officials are in Sri Lanka to conduct preparation work for Asia Cup 2023

Asia Cup 2023, PCB and ACC: The Officials of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are currently in Sri Lanka in order to discuss preparation plans pertaining to the Asia Cup.

PCB officials arrived in Sri Lanka on July 20 :-

Pakistan Cricket Board officials arrived in Sri Lanka on July 20. While officials from the Asian Cricket Council are already in Sri Lanka taking part in the ongoing ACC Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Asia Cup 2023: ACC and PCB officials will make an inspection accordingly :-

Accordingly, the ACC and PCB officials will make an inspection tour to both the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (PICS) in Kandy (July21) and the RPICS in Colombo. The two venues where the matches to be held in Sri Lanka during the Asia Cup will be played.

The ACC and PCB delegates will also hold further discussions with Sri Lanka Cricket officials pertaining to the preparation for the upcoming Asia Cup.

The visit comes just a day after the Asian Cricket Council and the Pakistan Cricket Board announced the schedule of the Men’s ODI Asia Cup 2023.

Basic Informtion about format of tournament :-

The 50-over format tournament will be held from August 30 to September 17. Pakistan host staging four matches and nine matches being held in Sri Lanka, including the finals.
