And after a win in first-class cricket spanning 1,043 days, he has made significant improvements. This summer and is one of four teams competing for the County Championship title. Which is entering the final round of the games.
Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell said in a statement to the club that Peter Moores’s record was “as good as anyone in the county game” and his role in the club’s ability to recruit players from elsewhere such as Ben Duckett, Joe Clarke. shed light on. and Haseeb Hameed.
We have been a force in limited-overs play throughout Peter Moores’ entire time and, over the past few seasons, we have seen a young side make significant progress in the County Championship as well, says Newell. Ball has won trophies. Also, the consistency shown in qualifying for the later stages constitutes a record. Which is just as good for anyone in the county game.
“Meanwhile, progress was made during the short 2020 season to make us more competitive in red-ball cricket. And this year, we are back where we want to be in terms of our performance in a first-class game.
“Peter Moores’ presence within our set-up has been a key factor in terms of our recruitment. Because people want to work with him. And he’s also successfully committed to bringing in domestic players like Lyndon James, Liam Patterson-White And Joy Evison is all set to play a bigger role for the club in the future.”
