India’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar is ready to make a great comeback in the team. After playing his last match against West Indies in February, Deepak had to stay out of the team for a long period of 5 months due to hamstring injury and then back injury. Chahar is returning to the team for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in August.

Deepak was seen practicing bowling and batting at Chennai Super Kings Academy. In a video uploaded by the franchise on Twitter, Deepak Chahar is seen practicing on the ground.

In the half-minute video, Deepak Chahar is seen focusing on batting and bowling. Chahar is also ready to bat in the lower order. For this reason, Chahar is practicing both as a bowler and as a batsman.

Zimbabwe tour can decide the journey till T20I World Cup

According to the news, Deepak Chahar’s name is going on for the Asia Cup T20. In the T20I World Cup, Chahar could be found in the Indian team on the basis of his Zimbabwe tour performance. The squad for the Asia Cup will be announced on August 8.
