Karachi, Jan 31 (AP) Fakhar Zaman’s first century in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) helped Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings by six wickets while Islamabad United beat Peshawar Zalmi by nine wickets in another match.

This is Karachi’s third consecutive defeat

Left-handed batsman Fakhar scored 106 runs off 60 balls with 12 fours. And four sixes as Lahore registered a victory at 174 for four. This is Karachi’s third consecutive defeat.

Earlier in another match, Peshawar’s team scored 168 for six despite Sherfane Rutherford’s unbeaten 70. In reply, Islamabad won by scoring 172 runs in 15.5 overs. For his side, Alex Hales (82 not out) and Paul Stirling (57) laid the foundation for the victory. By adding 112 runs in 9.4 overs for the first wicket.
