Rahane breaks silence on Kohli run out in Adelaide Test, tells how he was feeling

New Delhi, Online Desk. The Adelaide Test played against Australia for the Indian cricket team was no less than a nightmare. In this Test, India were all out after scoring only 36 runs in the second innings and Australia easily won the match by 8 wickets and took a 1–0 lead in the series. Now Rahane has given his reaction to that incident and said that he was more hurt and saddened than Kohli by that run out.

However, Kohli’s run out in this match made a lot of headlines. Actually, when Rahane and Kohli were batting, Kohli wanted to take runs on Rahane’s call but he refused later. After this Kohli could not go back and was run out on the score of 74 runs. At that time India’s score was 188 runs for 3 wickets. But after that the wickets kept falling and Team India was all out after scoring only 244 runs. The highest score in the team was in the name of Kohli. Apart from Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujar scored 43 while Rahane scored 42 runs.

In reply to India’s 244, Australia could only manage 191 runs but in India’s second innings. The batsmen once again disappointed and the entire team was all out for just 36 runs. In the second innings, 3 Indian batsmen were on zero while none of the batsmen could touch the double figures. For Australia, Josh Hazlewood took 5 wickets while Pat Cummins took 4 wickets. However, after falling 0-1, the Indian team made a spectacular comeback to win the 4-match series 2-1. Which is known as the biggest comeback.
