Ranji Trophy: Ajinkya Rahane scored double century, Hyderabad under Mumbai’s scoreboard

Ranji Trophy, Ajinkya Rahane: Indian cricket team’s star batsman Ajinkya Rahane has given a befitting reply to the critics with his performance. Mumbai scored three centuries on the ground of Bandra Kurla Complex. Ajinkya Rahane is walking out of the Indian team due to poor form.

Ajinkya Rahane batting brilliantly double century :-

Rahane scored 204 off 261 balls while batting well against Hyderabad. During this he hit 26 fours and 3 sixes. Rahane shared a 196-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Sarfaraz Khan. Sarfaraz Khan has also scored a century in this match.

Ajinkya Rahane wants to return to the Indian team :-

Rahane, once an important part of the Indian Test team, is running out of the team due to poor form. Along with this, he has also been removed from the vice-captaincy. In such a situation, Rahane has made the Ranji Trophy his way back to the Indian team.

Here he performed brilliantly by capitalizing on this opportunity and scored a double century. He is eyeing a return to the Indian team through the Ranji Trophy.

Suryakumar Yadav played a blistering innings :-

Talking about this match, apart from Rahane, three Mumbai batsmen scored centuries. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 162 runs off 195 balls. At the same time, Sarfaraz Khan scored an unbeaten 126 runs.

Mumbai scored a mountain-like score of 651 runs on the first day at the loss of 6 wickets. Suryakumar Yadav, playing Ranji after three years, also batted explosively. Surya played an inning of 90 runs.
