The Traveled to Sri Lanka with the Indian team :-
Hyderabad’s fielding coach Dilip had earlier traveled to Sri Lanka with the Indian team under Dravid’s guidance in July. R Sridhar, the outgoing fielding coach from Milap, was also from Hyderabad.
The appointment of Paras Mhambrey was on expected lines given the former Mumbai pacer’s long association with Dravid in the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Under-19, and India A teams.
Rahul Dravid himself has admitted that he is easy to work with the 49-year-old Mumbaikar, who played two Tests and three ODIs in the late 90s.
There was good criticism from the Indian team :-
Rathour (52) was also an automatic choice as he received good criticism from the Indian team. He recently revealed that he had applied for the position.
