Hasranga is An All Rounder:-
RCB is all out for Wanindu Hasaranga as they bought him for a whopping price of Rs 10.75 crore. Hasranga is an all-rounder and has established himself as one of the best wrist spinners over the years.
Their main weapon is the googly, which is useful against the LHB as well as the RHB. The management would at least expect decent returns from Vanindu Hasaranga.
However, it is fair to doubt his return to good batting pitches in the IPL. RCB has put all their eggs in one basket, as they do not have another reliable wrist spinner in their team (Karn Sharma, unfortunately, is not good enough to play as a leading spinner).
The batsmen will be better prepared to face Harshal now, but he has the form. If Harshal continues his good run, RCB will not face any major problems in the bowling department.

The 37-year-old Faf du Plessis is likely to be the captain of RCB. However, it could backfire if Faf doesn’t perform well, which is a real possibility in RCB’s set-up.
But, till the time Kohli is not made the captain again, RCB doesn’t have a lot of options. But if RCB has shelter on Faf, they should go for him.

The background and performances of Faf du Plessis and Kohli will have a big impact on RCB’s batting performance. RCB can open with Rawat and allot to Faf-Kohli as shown in the squad graphic.
But, the No. 3 batsman is expected to face a lot of spins, so it’s not a big problem considering Kohli and Faf du Plessis’s issues against spin.
