Matches Can be Held During the Day as Well

Jajodia said that Test matches can be played with pink ball even during the day. it is no problem. Recently, Test was played between Australia and South Africa in Sydney. The result of the match could not be declared due to rain and bad light, while floodlights were available in the ground. Due to this the organizers had to face criticism. Todd Greengarb, CEO of the Australian Cricketers Association, said that we have to find new ways. This also includes the safety of the players.

It is known that England has played only one pink ball test at home so far. In 2017, he played day-night test against West Indies. On the other hand, Australia’s team is continuously playing Test with pink ball at home. Team India is going to play a 4-match test series from Kangaroo team at home from February 9, but no test will be played with pink ball.
