Rehan Ahmed created history as soon as he made his ODI debut for England, became the youngest player to do this feat

Rehan Ahmed has become the youngest player in the history of England cricket to make his ODI debut. Ahmed made his ODI debut at the age of 18 years and 205 days. Earlier, Rehan Ahmed also became the youngest Test debutant in England cricket history. Ahmed made his Test debut against Pakistan in December 2022 in Karachi.

Rehan Ahmed became the youngest ODI debut for England. He broke the record held by Ben Hollioake, who made his ODI debut at the age of 19 years and 195 days. Fast bowler all-rounder Sam Karan is third in this list. He made his ODI debut for England at the age of 20 years and 21 days. England fast bowler Stuart Broad is the fourth youngest player in the country to make his ODI debut.

Jos Buttler-led England have already clinched the series by defeating Bangladesh in the first two ODIs. Bangladesh suffered a bilateral ODI series defeat at home for the first time in seven years. England won the first ODI by three wickets while the second ODI was won by a huge margin of 132 runs. The Three Lions will look to make a clean sweep of Bangladesh by winning the third and final ODI.
