Rishabh Pant celebrated his mother’s birthday

Young India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant had another elusive wicketkeeping century, joining the legendary MS Dhoni in an elusive list. Pant will next play against South Africa at the Wanderers in Johannesburg in the second Test of the three-match series.

Pant is 4 catches away from becoming the fourth Indian to take 100 catches as a wicket-keeper in a Test match. With the likes of Dhoni (256), Syed Kirmani (160), and Kiran More (110) at 42nd. He’s a wicketkeeper on the all-time list.
Earlier in the first Test at Centurion, Pant broke Dhoni’s record for becoming the fastest 100 wicket-keeper in Test cricket after dismissing Temba Bavuma in the first innings.
