India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was injured on Friday after his car hit a divider and caught fire while traveling from Delhi to Uttarakhand. He was driving his Mercedes car, which met with an accident near Roorkee in Uttarakhand.
Pant was wished for full recovery on Twitter –
Rishabh Pant has suffered head, knee and calf injuries as a result of the accident. He may have a fracture in his leg and is currently being taken to Max Hospital in Dehradun. After Pant was injured in the road accident, people from all walks of life took to Twitter and wished the cricketer a speedy recovery.
Rishabh Pant was part of the Indian team that won the Test series 2-0 against Bangladesh earlier this month. He impressed with innings of 46 and 93 in the first and second Test respectively.

He was recently dropped from the T20I squad announced for the series against Sri Lanka and was to join the National Cricket Academy for a strength and conditioning program ahead of February’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
