Riyan Parag has broken his silence regarding that incident

Now Riyan Parag has broken his silence regarding that incident and told why Harshal Patel did not shake hands with him. He said that last year, when we were playing against RCB, Harshal Patel got me out. When I was going back, he gestured his hand and asked me to leave. I didn’t see this thing when I went back to the hotel and saw the replays. It stuck in my mind ever since.

Now, when I hit him (Harshal) in the last over (against RCB in IPL 2022), I made the same gesture. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t abuse. But then, Siraj told me that even Harshal had not said anything.”

When the innings was over Siraj said to me, ‘Hey, come here,’ he said, ‘You are a child, behave like a child’. I told him, ‘Brother, I am not telling you anything’. By then the players of both the teams came and the matter ended there. Later Harshal did not shake hands with me which I thought was a bit immature.”
