As per the current BCCI policy, every player has to obtain a ‘fit to play’ certificate by conducting. A mandatory fitness test at the NCA (National Cricket Academy) before returning. It is only after this process that the selection committee is informed about the player’s availability.
With Virat Kohli now relinquishing the captaincy from the Test format as well. It is more important for Rohit to stay away from injury.
