Rohit Sharma: We didn’t bat well –
With this, the Indian team lost the ODI series 1-2. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma lashed out at his batsmen after the match. Rohit Sharma said that this target was not big, but our batsmen were not able to build a partnership.
After the match, Rohit Sharma said – “I don’t think the target was too big. The pitch got a bit challenging in the second innings. I think we batted poorly. Partnerships are important and we failed to do that today. The way wickets fell, it was shameful. You have grown up playing on these pitches.”
Rohit further said –
“Sometimes you have to push yourself. Give yourself a chance. It was important for a batsman to settle down and take the game to the end. But we all tried our best but didn’t succeed.”
