Romario Shepherd made impossible catch possible in SA20, watch video

Romario Shepherd, SA20: Often in a game of cricket, two-four players are caught out, but no one else pays attention to them. However, there are some cases which become headlines in themselves. One such catch was taken by West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd in the SA20 league. In a way he made an impossible catch possible. If you watch the video, you will say that Romario Shepherd did not catch the catch, but the catcher caught his hand.

Amazing catch of Romario Shepherd :-

Actually, the seventh match of the second season of the SA20 League was being played between Durban Super Giants and Joburg Super Kings. Durban team was batting and one wicket had fallen. Joburg captain Faf Duplessis kept the attacking field in the power play, which also benefited him. He placed Romario Shepherd at short mid-wicket and he took an excellent catch to give success to the team. This catch was really fantastic.

Durban Super Giants batsman Matthew Breetzke was looking in good form. He had scored 13 runs in 8 balls with the help of one four and one six, but what happened on the next ball was no less than a miracle. Brittke played a pull shot on a short pitched ball and Romario Shepherd was standing in the short mid-wicket area. The ball was going upwards from his right side. Romario moved slightly to his right and jumped into the air.

The ball stuck to Romario’s right hand and the batsman was surprised to see this, because the shot was very fast and such catches are not easily caught. Seeing this catch of Romario, his team captain Faf Du Plessis also looked very happy. The level of fielding in T20 cricket is progressing these days and we have seen on many occasions that players win hearts by making impossible catches possible with their efforts.
