SA20 2023: Donovan 40-ball 82 gives Super Kings a winning start

Donovan Ferreira gave an early glimpse of why he is a highly scouted batsman on the T20 circuit with a 40-ball 82 that laid the foundation for Joburg Super Kings victory in their SA20 opener against Durban Super Giants.

Keshav and Dwaine added the wickets –

On a surface assisted spin at Kingsmead. Subrian, who had taken those two wickets in the final over of the powerplay, edged past short-third for a boundary and then hit a six over his head. That 16-run 10th over effectively changed the game’s momentum with Ferreira helping himself to two more fours in the next over bowled by Maharaj.
