Fabian Allen robbed: West Indies international cricketer Fabian Allen has recently become the victim of a shocking incident of robbery at gunpoint in Johannesburg.

The 28-year-old Jamaican all-rounder, who is currently playing for the Paarl Royals franchise in the SA20 league, was targeted outside the team hotel, leaving the cricketer shaken. Gun-armed attackers stopped Allen near the famous Sandton Sun Hotel and forcibly took away his personal belongings, including his phone and bag. The incident has raised concerns over the safety of players participating in the SA20.

Multiple sources associated with the Paarl Royals team, the SA20 League and Cricket West Indies (CWI) have confirmed the incident. A CWI source acknowledged the situation and assured that Allen was unharmed. Additionally, a representative of the West Indies board expressed relief after making contact with the player.
A top CWI official told Cricbuzz, “Our head coach Andre Collie, who is also a Jamaican, contacted Fabian. The contact successfully established through Obed McCoy (another West Indies player). He Are fine.”

Paarl Royals will play the Eliminator on February 7 after Qualifier 1 in the night. The final will ‘e played on 10 February.
