Sachin Tendulkar IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians mentor Sachin Tendulkar has given a big statement on a player of his team. This player was the biggest hero of Mumbai Indians’ victory in the match played against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This player could not perform amazingly for Mumbai Indians in the first 4 matches of IPL 2023. But against Sunrisers Hyderabad, this player performed amazingly with both ball and bat under pressure.

Sachin Tendulkar Gave a Big Statement on this Player

Mumbai Indians mentor Sachin Tendulkar heaped praise on Cameron Green for his brilliant unbeaten 64 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, saying the batsman did not let his ego get in the way despite a difficult start to their campaign. Green did not have a good start in the IPL and scored 5, 12, 17 not out and 1 in the first four matches. But he hit an unbeaten 64 in 40 balls against Hyderabad. In this match, Mumbai Indians were struggling at 95/3 in the 12th over but Green shared a 56-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Tilak Verma (37 off 17 balls). Due to which Mumbai made a challenging score of 192 runs.

Tendulkar Praised Fiercely

Sachin said in a video shared on the social media of Mumbai Indians, ‘I think I have learned something. And I believe that we all have received the same message from Green. He can hit the ball long like any other batsman in the team but the initial phase was difficult for him. He didn’t let his ego get in his way. Ego is something that always motivates you to do wrong things. He did not do so.

Sachin further said, ‘Green chose the right direction in the interest of our team. He could also play a bad shot. If he had got out, we would not have been able to reach 192. He should be appreciated for his effort. The Australian all-rounder also showed his hand in bowling and took the important wicket of Aiden Markram, for which he was also adjudged the player of the match.
