Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar has given a big response regarding the ODI format. He has said that the current ODI format is quite boring and needs to be changed to make it interesting. According to Tendulkar, both the teams should bowl in the first and second half.

The Ball No Longer Reverse Swings

Without a doubt ODIs are getting boring now. In the current format, two new balls are available and due to this the option of reverse swing is lost. The ball doesn’t reverse swing anymore, because two new balls are now coming together. That’s why I feel a little injustice is being done to the bowlers. Now you can predict the game very well. The match gets boring from 15th to 40th over. For this reason, both the teams should bowl in both the first and second innings. It will also be good commercially as there will be three innings break instead of two.
