Nepal’s 22-year-old leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has become the first bowler in the world to take at least one wicket in 27 consecutive ODIs. He has broken the record of former Australia veteran bowler Brett Lee. Lee was known for stormy bowling. He had taken at least one wicket in 26 consecutive ODIs.

Sandeep Lamichhane Took One Wicket for 52 Runs in 10 Overs
Talking about the match, Nepal had scored 229 runs for 8 wickets while playing first. In response, the UAE team got out after scoring 187 runs. Sandeep Lamichhane took one wicket for 52 runs in 10 overs. This was Lamichhane’s overall 37th ODI. He has taken 87 wickets at an average of 16. 6 wickets for 11 runs is his best performance. Has taken 4 wickets 7 times and 5 wickets 2 times.

Taking Wickets Continuously Since 2020
Sandeep Lamichhane has played 27 ODIs since 2020 and has taken at least one wicket in all. Earlier, Brett Lee did this feat in 26 consecutive ODIs between 2009 and 2011. Apart from this, Ishaan Bishop of West Indies did this in 25 consecutive ODIs, Hamid Hasan of Bangladesh in 24 consecutive ODIs and Chris Pringle of New Zealand in 23 consecutive ODIs.
