Sanjay Bangar told India a stronger team than Pakistan, said- PAK is not dependent on one or two players, Team India

Former India cricketer and batting coach Sanjay Bangar has said ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia that the Indian team is “perfect” and does not depend on one or two players. India have to start their campaign in the T20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan on 23 October and Sanjay Bangar said this with reference to Pakistan captain Babar Azam and opener Mohammad Rizwan.

“The Indian team has played some good matches against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. India is a more complete team, and is not dependent on one or two individuals,” Bangar said on Star Sports’ Cricket Live event on Thursday.

Talking on bowling, Sanjay Bangar said that Pakistan’s bowlers have the pace

He said, “I think Pakistan is clearly dependent on Babar and Rizwan in the batting department, while the Indian team is not really narcissistic on some players. We have four or five match winners and they are in great form, So from the batting point of view, the Indian team is in a better position.”
Talking on bowling, Sanjay Bangar said that Pakistan bowlers have the pace, but Indian bowlers know full use of the weapon of swing.

He said, “If you look at the bowling side, they (Pakistan) have the pace, but the Indian team has this skill that if Deepak Chahar is fit in place of Jasprit Bumrah, then you can see his abilities to swing the ball. You can see. Arshdeep Singh is exactly the kind of left arm bowler we were looking for. He can swing the ball both ways. I think the Indian team lacks the pace department, but they use that skill. They fill the gap which they have.

Sanjay Bangar said about India’s World Cup preparations, “Indian team’s spirits are really high. I am sure the Indian team would have drawn a lot of positivity from the way they performed. Bowlers have got a tough lesson. But it’s good that they have enough time to think about it, rework their plans, move on and play their best cricket in Australia.”
