Sarfaraz said – “I was feeling lonely, I cried too” as he broke his silence on not getting a place in the team

Apart from ODIs and T20s against New Zealand, Team India has also been announced for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Even in this squad, Sarfaraz Khan, who created a ruckus with his bat in Ranji cricket, did not get a chance.

Talking to Times of India, Sarfaraz Khan said –

“When the team was announced and my name was not in it, I was sad. Anyone in my place would have been sad. I was hopeful that I would be selected. Yesterday when I was going from Guwahati to Delhi, I was talking about it all day. I kept thinking. I kept thinking about why this happened? I felt so alone, I even cried.”

The fans were giving different reactions about Sarfaraz Khan, but for the first time, Khan himself has spoken about it.

Sarfaraz Khan told that he also met Chetan Sharma after the final match of Ranji Trophy.

He said – “I was told that there will be a chance against Bangladesh, be ready, but now when I met him again, he said don’t worry, wait, your time will come. Good things take time. You will get a chance.” “
