Shabnim Ismail’s four-wicket haul and an 88-run stand between Andrey Steyn and Sune Luus helped South Africa win the series in the decider at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday.
Sune’s Excellent Partnership of 88 Runs :-
Andrey Steyn scored his fifth ODI half-century and stitched a fine 88-run partnership with skipper Suné Luus to help South Africa win a series against the West Indies in Johannesburg on Sunday.

The two joined hands after openers Laura Wolvaardt and Tzmin Britts fell to Alia Allene and Effie Fletcher respectively in their 20s.
Sune Luis was initially campaigning as he hit boundaries at frequent intervals to push West Indies over the back-foot.
Luus South Africa’s Driving Seat :-
While Hayley Matthews brought up the curb with her off-spin and Effie Fletcher was threatening, Steyn and Luce made a comfortable stand to put South Africa in the driving seat.
By the time Sune Luce was dismissed for 47 off 80 balls in the 35th over, South Africa had completed the regulation run chase.
Another hiccup occurred in the next over with Andrey Steyn falling to the same bowler Anisa Mohammed, who had computed for Luce. But by then the hosts had everything to do except chasing runs and Chloe Tyrone quickly clinched the victory with a 17-ball 20.
Earlier, deciding to bat, West Indies made a solid second-wicket stand between Deandra Dottin and Kishia Knight. After an early defeat by Rashda Williams, cleared by Shabnim Ismail.
Deandra Dottin was in excellent touch, but it was Knight who scored the quick runs and kept the partnership going.
Dottin Breaks the 65-Run Partnership :-
Shabnim Ismail worked a comeback spell to break South Africa. In the 23rd over, Dottin broke the partnership of 65 runs. Chloe Tyrone then accounted for Knight, who was dismissed for two short runs from a skilful half-century. And it opened the floodgates for the hosts.
From 104/2, West Indies succumbed to 125/6 within 10 overs as the hosts ran away from the middle order. Hayley Matthews, Sheaman Campbell, and Allene fell in quick succession as South Africa’s bowlers landed them in deep trouble.

While Cherry-Ann Fraser protested a bit with Mandy Mangroo, West Indies could not add much to the total and were bowled out for 174. With Shabnim Ismail scoring 4/44 for South Africa.
The run chase was then completed with minimal fuss as South Africa stunned the series with back-to-back victories.
